Computer Technician (Project-based)

💻 PROJECT-BASED COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – 3-MONTH CONTRACT

Joneco Tech Marketing Corporation is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Computer Technician to join our team on a 3-month project-based contract.

📌 PROJECT-BASED POSITION
This position is initially offered for a 3-month project duration. Depending on the employee’s performance, project requirements, and company needs, there may be an opportunity for contract extension or continued employment, subject to company evaluation.

📌 JOB SUMMARY

The Computer Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and other IT-related equipment. The role will also provide technical assistance to customers and support IT-related concerns as needed.

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues.
• Perform installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of desktop computers and laptops.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, applications, and other software.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, network devices, and other computer peripherals.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct computer testing and quality checks after repairs.
• Assist customers with technical concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, service requests, and technical activities.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.

✅ QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, or technical support is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of networking and LAN troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work on a 3-month project-based contract.
• Tesda NC II is an advantage.
