Position Overview

• Job Type: Full-time / Contract
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5:00 PM (Preferred)
• Work Location: In-person

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Repair & Refurbishing: Perform basic hardware repairs and component replacements on laptops (and occasional desktop units).
• Testing & Diagnostics: Run functional tests on laptops and mobile devices to verify hardware integrity; troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
• Cleaning & Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prep tested equipment for inventory and resale.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately record technical details, testing results, and inventory notes into our Inventory Management System.
• Technical Research: Consult manufacturer documentation (Dell, Lenovo, HP, Apple, etc.) to identify specs and configuration details on unmarked or non-working hardware.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on computer technical troubleshooting (Required).
• Specialized Background: Prior experience with laptop repair or tech services (e.g., Geek Squad) is strongly preferred.
• Work Ethic: Strong self-direction, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent critical thinking and precise note-taking skills.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills.
