Computer Vision Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop computer vision algorithms for object detection, segmentation, tracking, registration, or scene understanding
• Work with image, video, point cloud, mesh, RGB-D, LiDAR, or synthetic data depending on project needs
• Train, evaluate, and refine machine learning models for perception and spatial understanding tasks
• Build data processing pipelines for collecting, cleaning, labeling, and evaluating visual datasets
• Integrate computer vision capabilities into simulation, XR, or training software systems
• Communicate model performance, limitations, and technical tradeoffs to engineering teammates and stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Experience developing computer vision or machine learning solutions in Python
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools
• Understanding of object detection, segmentation, feature extraction, camera geometry, or 3D perception concepts
• Ability to evaluate model performance and work through real-world data limitations
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D object detection, scene understanding, point clouds, LiDAR, RGB-D, or mesh/model analysis
• Experience with OpenCV, ROS, CUDA, synthetic data generation, or simulation-based datasets
• Familiarity with XR, robotics, geospatial, digital twin, or defense training applications
• Experience deploying models into production software or edge computing environments
• Active DoD Secret clearance
