Computer Vision Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement vision-based navigation techniques to improve positioning accuracy
• Develop target detection and tracking capability for terminal-phase guidance
• Work with the flight-control team to fuse vision-derived data into the navigation solution
• Select and integrate onboard camera/sensor hardware within program size, weight, and power constraints
• Characterize system performance under varied real-world conditions and validate degradation modes
• Own the compute and latency budget for the vision pipeline within real-time system constraints

Required qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Vision, Robotics, or related field
• 5+ years applied computer vision experience, ideally with embedded/real-time deployment
• Strong background in visual odometry, terrain-referenced navigation, or object detection/tracking
• Proficiency in Python/C++ and standard CV/ML frameworks, with a track record of deploying on constrained hardware

Good to have

• Experience with scene-matching or similar terminal guidance techniques
• Prior GNSS-denied navigation work
• Embedded GPU/edge-inference deployment experience
