Computerised Accounting Instrutor

Job Summary

NICON Group of Colleges is seeking a qualified and experienced Computerised Accounting Instructor with strong practical knowledge of accounting software and the ability to teach accounting, finance, and computerized bookkeeping courses. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks, Tally ERP, SAP, Sage, and Peachtree Accounting Software and capable of delivering practical, industry-oriented training to students and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computerised Accounting courses using QuickBooks, Tally ERP, SAP, Sage, and Peachtree accounting software.
• Deliver theoretical and practical lessons in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Finance.
• Train students in recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Teach the preparation of journal entries, general ledgers, trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Demonstrate practical accounting software applications using real-world business scenarios and case studies.
• Develop lesson plans, training materials, assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments.
• Guide students in financial statement analysis, budgeting, taxation fundamentals, and basic financial management.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their technical and accounting skills.
• Keep course content aligned with current accounting practices and industry requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in teaching Computerised Accounting and Finance-related subjects.
• Strong practical command of QuickBooks, Tally ERP, SAP, Sage, and Peachtree Accounting Software.
• Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly and deliver hands-on software training.
• Good communication, presentation, classroom management, and student assessment skills.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates must demonstrate practical knowledge of the following:

• QuickBooks: Company setup, chart of accounts, invoicing, expenses, bank reconciliation, payroll, and financial reports.
• Tally ERP / TallyPrime: Voucher entries, inventory, GST/tax configuration where applicable, ledgers, payroll, and financial statements.
• SAP: Financial Accounting (SAP FI), general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, and financial reporting.
• Sage Accounting: Bookkeeping, invoicing, bank reconciliation, VAT/tax settings where applicable, and financial reporting.
• Peachtree Accounting (Sage 50): Company creation, chart of accounts, journal entries, inventory, payroll, and financial statements.

• Experience training students at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
• Strong command of MS Excel, including accounting-related formulas, data analysis, and financial reporting.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
