Concept & Prototype Engineer (Contract)

·       Proven experience in Machine Design and Prototyping (from concept to physical build)

·       Demonstrated expertise in engineering automation solutions to drive continuous improvement in process performance and operational efficiency

·       Translate process requirements into robust equipment and machine specifications

·       Lead the design and development of innovative prototype solutions aligned with operational needs

·       Oversee full lifecycle of machine development, from supplier selection to final validation and acceptance

Drive successful equipment integration to achieve targeted manufacturing performance (yield, capacity, and EER)

Qualification

Education

·       Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering field

·       Master’s Degree or higher are preferable

Skills

·       Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or NX) and simulation tools

·       Understanding of PLC programming, sensors, pneumatics/hydraulics, and motion control systems

·       Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean concepts to optimize machine efficiency

·       Creative mindset

·       Technical problem analysis skill (both machine & process perspectives)

·       Excellent English communication skills, suitable for an international business environment
