Position Overview

Tapper’s is seeking a polished, personable, and hospitality-focused Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for every guest entering our showroom.

The Concierge plays an important role in creating an exceptional luxury experience from the moment a guest arrives. This position is centered around greeting, hospitality, guest flow, and making every person who visits our boutique feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued.

The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys interacting with people, has strong situational awareness, and understands that luxury hospitality is about much more than appearance—it is about making every guest feel that they belong.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome every guest entering the boutique.
• Create a positive and inviting first impression that reflects the standards of Tapper’s.
• Engage guests in friendly conversation and determine how the team can best assist them.
• Introduce and transition guests to the appropriate Sales Professional.
• Help manage guest flow during busy periods while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• When associates are assisting other clients, communicate wait times courteously and keep waiting guests comfortable and informed.
• Offer beverages and other hospitality amenities when appropriate.
• Recognize returning clients and help create a personalized experience.
• Maintain awareness of the boutique environment and communicate guest needs to the sales and management teams.
• Assist with appointments, special events, and VIP experiences.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Help ensure the entrance, hospitality areas, and client-facing spaces remain organized and presentation-ready.
• Work closely with Sales Professionals, management, and security to provide a seamless guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Two years, previous experience in luxury retail with a background in luxury hospitality, upscale hotels, fine dining, premium automotive dealerships, private clubs, or other guest-focused environments, preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate client needs.
• Experience serving diverse and high-end clientele with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and select holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds periodically.
• Ability to handle jewelry and luxury merchandise with care and precision.
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspection of merchandise and repair items.

A successful Concierge makes guests feel welcomed before they ever speak with a Sales Professional. They notice when someone needs assistance, communicate clearly when the boutique is busy, and help ensure that no Guest feels overlooked, uncomfortable, or uncertain about what happens next.
