Are you friendly, compassionate, and passionate about helping others? We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and service-oriented Concierge to join our team at our nursing home.

The Concierge plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our residents, families, visitors, and staff. As the first point of contact at our facility, you will help create a welcoming environment while providing courteous assistance, answering questions, coordinating requests, and supporting daily operations.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with older adults, communicates with kindness and professionalism, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk and provide helpful, timely assistance.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and messages.
• Respond to general questions regarding facility services, activities, dining, visiting procedures, and schedules.
• Assist residents and families with non-clinical requests and coordinate with the appropriate departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Follow visitor sign-in procedures and facility security protocols.
• Coordinate transportation requests, appointments, deliveries, tours, and meetings as directed.
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, flowers, and other deliveries.
• Support resident and family events and activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with facility procedures.
• Protect resident privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Communicate with patience, empathy, and respect when assisting residents with varying needs and abilities.
• Address concerns professionally and refer clinical or administrative matters to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow facility policies, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, assisted living, or a nursing home preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with older adults.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Basic computer and telephone skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in a busy environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Good judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk as required throughout the workday.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
