Our Front Office Department is currently seeking a Concierge Supervisor. Join the team at Crowne Plaza Auckland, where we provide exceptional service and a warm welcome to guests in these roles located in the heart of Auckland CBD. As part of the Concierge operations in our Front Office Department, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring guests have a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure.

The Concierge Supervisor is a full-time role with 30 hours guaranteed per week

About the role

• Supervise Concierge operations and maintenance of guest information and baggage storage.

• Ensure completion of all Concierge shift duties.

• Maintain exemplary department standards of behaviour, appearance and attitude as expected in a IHG Brand

• Maintain intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedures.

• Collaborate with the broader hotel team to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences

• Handle problems associated with guests and liaise with department heads or executive management, in the absence of the department leadership group

• Warmly greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure

• Providing knowledgeable recommendations and booking arrangements for local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and other guest requests

• Managing the flow of luggage and packages, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process.

• Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to advise guests on hotel amenities and services.

• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, anticipating and addressing their needs.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality industry, such as a Concierge, Front Desk or Guest Services role
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to handle guest requests efficiently
• Demonstrated knowledge of the local area and attractions
• Proficiency in using hotel management software and booking systems
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to multitask
