Concrete Batcher/Allocator

Coastwide Concrete is a locally owned and operated company supplying ready-mix concrete to the building and construction industry across the Central Coast region.

We currently have an opportunity for a suitable person to join the team as a Batcher/Allocator based out of our Gosford and Warnervale sites.

As a Batcher/Allocator you are responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met with service and product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient batching and loading of concrete, using specific concrete batching software.
• Optimising the utilisation of the Coastwide Concrete fleet through effective planning.
• Engage with customers and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Manage stock levels to meet the demands of customer requirements.
• Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:

• Basic administration, document and records management skills and intermediate numeracy skills.
• Be able to, or willing to learn to operate the Front End Loader.
• Professional, adaptable, resilient, positive and solutions-focused.
• Current unrestricted drivers licence with suitable driving record and own transport (HR drivers licence preferred but not essential)
• Pre-employment medical.

Desirable:

• Experience in concrete batching or concrete pumping.  Previous allocations based roles highly regarded.
• Experience in Construction/Logistics/Transport operations.
• Construction Industry White Card
• Licences/tickets in forklift, loader operations and/or other plant equipment
• Qualifications or trade experience in concreting or concrete technology.

Immediate start available.
Hourly rate based on experience.
