Concrete Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks that are essential to the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete and masonry work.
• Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pouring, ensuring stability and adherence to specifications.
• Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprint specifications, maintaining structural integrity.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently during various phases of construction.
• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using specialized tools and techniques.
• Cut, shape, and install concrete components such as slabs, curbs, stairs, and decorative hardscape features.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and your team.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete carpentry or masonry work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete mixing, pumping, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, rebar installation techniques, and heavy lifting procedures.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to collaborate with project managers on material needs and timelines.
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete pumps or mixers is a plus.
• Capable of performing demolition or renovation tasks related to concrete structures when required.

Pay: $22.00 - $33.25 per hour
