Concrete Carpenter

We're currently seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our crew and support a wide range of forming and framing projects.

Position Summary:

The Concrete Carpenter will be responsible for building, setting, and stripping forms for concrete structures including foundations, walls, slabs, footings, curbs, and stairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wood and metal forms, reading blueprints, and working efficiently as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and set forms for concrete foundations, walls, sidewalks, stairs, and flatwork
• Measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials according to project plans
• Install rebar, embeds, and other reinforcement as needed
• Assist with pouring and finishing concrete when necessary
• Strip forms and clean materials for reuse
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and project specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Work closely with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in concrete formwork/carpentry
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and layout plans
• Familiarity with Symons, gang forms, and other forming systems
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Strong understanding of job site safety practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both residential and light commercial concrete work
• Ability to operate skid steers, forklifts, or other job site equipment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
