Concrete Casting Supervisor

LUMACAST, Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Casting Supervisor to join our production team in San Diego. We manufacture premium architectural concrete fire and water features using GFRC and are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and maintaining a clean and organized production environment.

This is a hands-on position. You will actively cast products while overseeing the day-to-day quality, organization, and workflow of the casting department.

Responsibilities

• Cast GFRC concrete fire and water features according to established recipes and procedures
• Accurately measure and weigh all materials for each batch
• Follow mix designs and recipes precisely to maintain consistent quality
• Monitor concrete consistency and identify potential issues before casting
• Inspect castings for cracks, defects, inconsistencies, and other quality concerns
• Keep molds, tools, equipment, and the casting area clean and organized
• Properly clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain proper inventory rotation and monitor material levels
• Help train and oversee casting team members
• Ensure production procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements are followed
• Communicate production, quality, or material issues to management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional concrete experience required
• Experience batching, mixing, measuring, and casting concrete
• GFRC experience a plus
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to follow recipes and production procedures precisely
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Schedule

Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
