Concrete Contractor

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Contractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of concrete-related projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion. Your expertise will contribute to building durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures across various construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial developments to residential renovations, utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of concrete work and construction practices.

Duties

• Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute concrete forms, pouring, finishing, and related tasks.
• Prepare and set up formwork using carpentry skills and metal stud framing techniques for various concrete structures.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely and efficiently on-site.
• Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to ensure structural integrity.
• Execute concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, sealing, caulking, stucco application, and plastering to achieve desired surface quality.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best methods for heavy lifting, concrete placement, and formwork construction while adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of work progress, safety compliance checks, and project specifications in accordance with construction plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a strong focus on concrete work and related trades such as carpentry and metal stud framing.
• Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including heavy machinery), and safety protocols in construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes for materials and labor requirements.
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for hazard prevention.
• Skilled in concrete forming, finishing techniques including stamping or texturing surfaces as needed.
• Experience with rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring techniques, and the use of power tools in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $47,500.00 - $87,000.00 per year
