Concrete Cutter/Driller

We are a long established company and well respected for the high standard of work we deliver. With over 40 years of experience we have been involved with Auckland's biggest commercial projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing accurate work, and understands the importance of working safely in a demanding construction environment.

The role

Your work will include:

• Concrete floor sawing

• Core drilling

• Hand sawing and ring sawing

• Completing daily equipment and safety checks

• Maintaining cutting and drilling equipment

• Managing water, slurry and dust in accordance with site requirements

• Working safely alongside clients and other contractors

What we are looking for

The successful applicant will have:

• Proven experience in concrete cutting and drilling

• Confidence operating a range of concrete saws and drills

• A strong understanding of construction-site health and safety

• The ability to accurately measure and set out work

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• A reliable, practical and professional approach

• A full, clean New Zealand driver licence

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to undertake early starts, night work or weekend work when required

Experience with wire sawing, track-mounted wall sawing and large-diameter core drilling would be an advantage.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
