Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools to facilitate efficient pouring and finishing processes.
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to understand specifications for concrete work and formwork construction.
• Install rebar reinforcement and metal stud framing as required for structural integrity before pouring concrete.
• Construct formwork and molds according to technical drawings to shape concrete structures accurately.
• Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely during concrete placement and finishing activities.
• Ensure adherence to construction workplace safety regulations by following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing, formwork, or related trades.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, rebar benders, and concrete cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to concrete work is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations specific to construction workplaces, including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols.
• Skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, and renovation work are advantageous.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy machinery safely.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
