Concrete Finisher

• Job Overview:
• We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team at D-McP Construction. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and durability of our concrete projects by preparing forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces with precision. This is a full-time position primarily based in the Spokane Area, but some out of town work may be required. We offer a competitive salary range of $25 to $55 per hour.

Responsibilties:

• Prepare forms for concrete pouring according to project specifications
• Pour and level concrete to the required depth and consistency
• Finish surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve a smooth and professional appearance
• Monitor the curing process and apply sealants or coatings for protection as needed
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
• Ability to Clock in and out using mobile app
• Proficient in concrete mixing and finishing techniques
• Take notes/document work completed
• Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery used in concrete work
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise project execution
• Knowledge of rebar installation and other masonry techniques is highly desirable
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment
• Provides own hand tools
• Open to travel
• Certifications in construction estimating or safety training (such as OSHA) are a plus but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
