Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing and carpentry tasks that bring construction projects to life. Your expertise will help ensure structures are durable, visually appealing, and built to exact specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial building concrete and residential concrete, contributing your hands-on skills to create lasting impressions.

Duties

• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and texturing using hand tools and power tools to achieve a flawless finish.
• Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring structural integrity for concrete forms.
• Construct and assemble formwork using carpentry skills, including cutting, measuring, and securing forms for pouring concrete.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, or power barrows safely and efficiently to support various construction activities.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for construction projects while maintaining safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
• Proven experience in concrete finishing techniques including troweling, floating, and edging.
• Skilled in rebar installation, and form building.
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and bending when required.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
