CONCRETE FINISHER/SUPERINTENDANT

Ozaeta Construction, LLC is seeking a Concrete Finisher/Superintendent to oversee quality concrete work and help ensure projects run smoothly from finish to closeout in El Paso, TX.

Position Summary

The Concrete Finisher/Superintendent is responsible for delivering high-quality concrete finishing while coordinating on-site work to support safe, efficient project execution. This role combines hands-on finishing expertise with field leadership to help teams meet production goals and maintain workmanship standards.

You will take ownership of finish quality, jobsite readiness, and daily coordination with crew members and stakeholders. The ideal candidate can work confidently in an outdoor environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform concrete finishing tasks, including surface preparation, finishing, edging, and texturing, to meet project specifications.
• Oversee day-to-day jobsite workflow, coordinate tasks among crew members, and help maintain steady progress.
• Ensure concrete work is completed to required quality standards, timelines, and workmanship expectations.
• Maintain jobsite safety practices, promote safe work habits within the crew, and address issues before they escalate.
• Support project closeout activities by helping verify work completion, readiness for next trades, and documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing, including familiarity with common finishing methods and jobsite expectations.
• Ability to read and understand job requirements and follow instructions to achieve consistent results.
• Strong understanding of site safety practices and the ability to work safely in a demanding environment.
• Leadership capability to coordinate tasks, support crew performance, and maintain jobsite organization.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work full-time onsite in El Paso, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience taking on superintendent or lead responsibilities on concrete or construction projects.
• Familiarity with pouring, finishing, and curing-related field practices to support quality outcomes.
• Ability to troubleshoot jobsite issues related to materials, finishing conditions, or workflow constraints.
• Demonstrated commitment to craftsmanship, detail, and meeting deadlines without compromising safety.
