Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to guide onsite activities accurately.
• Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to meet deadlines.
• Manage safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, promoting a safety-first culture.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for proper execution of concrete placements and formwork.
• Oversee quality control measures, including material inspections, testing with tools like ohmmeters, and ensuring adherence to construction regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation using Construction Management Software such as ProCore or Prolog.
• Supervise subcontractors and manage crew performance through effective communication and management techniques.
• Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local construction safety standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial concrete construction projects with a strong background in supervising teams on-site.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with managing project schedules, budgets, and contracts within the scope of large-scale construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with construction safety management practices aligned with OSHA standards and federal regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
• Previous experience in pipeline or heavy civil projects is highly desirable; commercial construction experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, construction scheduling techniques, and managing subcontractors efficiently.
