Concrete Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality concrete work that meets project specifications. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, maintain strict quality standards, and foster a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives while utilizing your expertise in concrete and construction management.

Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project plans and schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align daily activities with overall project goals
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
• Manage material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory control for concrete supplies and related materials
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections on-site
• Oversee quality control measures, including testing concrete mixes with tools like ohmmeters and ensuring adherence to specifications
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, etc.
• Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling using Primavera or Primavera P6 software; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
• Review contracts, change orders, and project budgets

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction site supervision with a focus on concrete work and Ground up construction, including- foundations, piers, walls, slabs and sitework.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Specifically Structural Cast In Place Concrete.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management
• Skilled in managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes within a construction environment
• Excellent leadership skills with proven supervising experience; capable of motivating teams toward common goals
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures to ensure succesful concrete pours
• Effective communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
