Concrete Foreman

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects on-site. This pivotal role involves managing crews, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of concrete operations within commercial and infrastructure projects. Duties

• Supervise and manage concrete crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely completion of work
• Coordinate construction schedules using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction Management tools
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to interpret specifications accurately for onsite execution
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local safety regulations including OSHA standards and construction safety management protocols
• Oversee quality control processes, inspecting work for compliance with blueprints, schematics, and industry standards
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety logs using ProCore, Prolog, or similar construction management software
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation to optimize project flow
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with project specifications and safety requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and manage construction schedule coordination to meet deadlines
• Lead team meetings to communicate expectations clearly, motivate crew members, and address any issues promptly

Experience

• Proven management experience supervising heavy civil or commercial concrete projects on construction sites
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and related tools
• Strong background in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction drawings review
• Familiarity with managing contracts, project scheduling, budgeting processes, and construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards
• Hands-on experience with construction safety management practices on large-scale projects involving complex coordination
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards
• Construction site experience with a focus on concrete pouring operations, formwork installation, reinforcement placement, finishing techniques and quality assurance
• Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
