Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate concrete construction crews on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Oversee construction of foundations, footings, walls, slabs-on-grade, sidewalks, curbs, and other structural and site concrete work.
  • Read, interpret, and execute work in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and manage crew productivity to maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placements, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Perform and oversee construction layout, including building lines, footing and wall locations, elevations, and grade control.
  • Utilize construction surveying and layout equipment, including Trimble robotic total stations when applicable.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, jobsite safety, and quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades.
  • Identify field challenges, troubleshoot issues, and proactively develop practical solutions.
  • Maintain accountability for crew performance, jobsite organization, and efficient use of company resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and managing concrete construction crews is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience in commercial and/or industrial concrete construction.
  • Thorough understanding of concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and independently execute work in the field.
  • Strong understanding of construction layout, elevations, benchmarks, and dimensional control.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan work, coordinate resources, and maintain productive field operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Trimble robotic total stations for construction layout is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency with digital construction layout, survey control points, and electronic drawings.
  • Experience independently performing and verifying layout for foundations, walls, slabs, and other concrete structures.
  • Experience managing multiple crews or coordinating complex concrete placements.
  • Familiarity with commercial and industrial construction schedules, project coordination, and quality control requirements.
  • Experience using Procore or other Project Management software

What We're Looking For

The right candidate will be comfortable making decisions in the field, anticipating challenges before they become problems, and maintaining clear communication with both field personnel and project management.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced concrete professional who can confidently take charge of a crew and execute projects with limited day-to-day supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
