Concrete Formwork: Construction Labourer/Carpentry Apprentice

Tundra Foundations Ltd is hiring 2 new construction labourers/apprentice carpenters to help with concrete formwork projects in Edmonton as well as the rest of Alberta and BC.

We are a relatively small company looking to expand around a core of good people and are looking for people who are interested in a career in construction or are apprenticing carpenters.

Starting duties will include:

• Assisting with carpentry tasks
• Site clean-up & materials handling
• Pouring concrete and stripping out concrete forms

No experience is necessary, but previous construction experience is an asset.

Starting wage is $21/hr or higher depending on experience.

Requirements:

• You must have your own vehicle to get to/from our jobsites
• You must provide your own basic PPE (hard hat, boots, reflective vest, glasses)
• You must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
• You must be willing to do some out-of-town work. (Depending on the year, about 10-20% of our work is outside of Edmonton. Tundra provides hotels and living allowance in this case.)

Lastly, you must be reliable or and have a good work ethic!
