Job Overview
Southern Concrete Pumping, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Pump Operator (Boom) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of concrete to job sites. This position requires adherence to all safety regulations, including the ACPA safety guidelines, and a commitment to high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate boom concrete pumps safely and efficiently.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain pumping equipment.
• Follow ACPA (American Concrete Pumping Association) safety regulations and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience: Previous experience as a concrete pump operator preferred, but we are willing to train suitable candidates.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and ACPA safety standards.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continued random drug testing.
• Must pass a background check due to certain government and military contracts.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including Saturdays.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
