About the role

Oriental United Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our construction team on a full-time basis at our Menglembu, Perak location. This is a critical position that plays a vital role in the delivery of our construction projects. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete pumping equipment, ensuring that concrete is delivered to the required specifications and locations on site. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate concrete pump equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and site safety protocols
• Monitor concrete flow and pressure during pumping operations to ensure quality delivery and prevent equipment damage
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks on concrete pumping equipment
• Communicate effectively with site teams, including concrete suppliers and receiving personnel, to coordinate pumping operations
• Position and stabilise concrete pump vehicles and equipment on site according to project requirements
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance as required
• Maintain accurate records of concrete volumes pumped and equipment performance
• Comply with all site safety regulations, work procedures, and environmental standards
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment on site

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Vehicle License and Concrete Pump Operator certification or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience operating concrete pumps on construction sites
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of concrete pump equipment and systems
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Ability to interpret site plans and technical specifications
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to health and safety practices with a strong safety record
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and responsibility in maintaining equipment logs and documentation
• Experience with different types of concrete pumping equipment is advantageous
