Concreter

About the role

You will work across a variety of civil concrete projects between north Brisbane and Gympie, carrying out concrete construction works as part of an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Concrete placement, finishing and screeding
• Formwork and stripping
• Steel fixing and reinforcement
• Slabs, pits, footings and other civil concrete structures
• Reading plans, levels and construction details
• Setting up and preparing works prior to concrete placement
• Working safely around plant, equipment and other trades
• Checking completed work to ensure it meets the required standard
• Assisting and guiding less experienced team members where required

About you

• Previous concreting experience
• Strong understanding of concrete construction practices
• Construction White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Experience with civil infrastructure, pits, slabs, structures, formwork and reinforcement will be highly regarded
