Confirmations Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Capital Markets professional with strong experience in trade confirmations and derivatives.

The role involves managing the confirmation lifecycle, validating and matching trade details, coordinating with Sales and Front Office teams, and supporting process improvements to increase automation and STP.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end trade confirmation lifecycle.
• Perform drafting, validation, matching, and confirmation of transactions.
• Work with FX, Money Markets, and Derivatives products.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Support requirements gathering and business process improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve Straight-Through Processing (STP).
• Resolve trade confirmation breaks and discrepancies.
• Support pre-settlement and post-settlement activities.
• Work with relevant confirmation platforms and systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely confirmation of trades.
• Participate in process enhancement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or a related discipline.
• 2–8 years of relevant Capital Markets experience.
• Strong Derivatives knowledge and hands-on experience are mandatory.
• Experience working directly with Sales, Front Office, and other stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the trade lifecycle and confirmation process.
• Strong understanding of:
• Futures & Options
• OTC products
• Forward Rate Agreements (FRA)
• Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
• FX / Money Markets
• Experience with trade confirmation systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of STP and process automation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
