Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Professional with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka Platform to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale event streaming solutions. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building real-time data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and high-performance streaming applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Kafka/Confluent Kafka solutions.
• Build and manage real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
• Configure and administer Kafka clusters, topics, brokers, partitions, and replication.
• Implement Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, and Confluent ecosystem components.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kafka platform performance.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Work with development, data, and infrastructure teams to integrate Kafka with enterprise applications.
• Define Kafka best practices, standards, and governance.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on Kafka-related initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Apache Kafka.
• 3+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka Architecture, Producers, Consumers, Streams, and Connectors.
• Experience with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, and Confluent Control Center.
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Experience with Linux, Networking, Security, and Monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or Scala.
• Confluent Kafka Certifications are a plus.
