What they need

Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Connections Co-ordinator to join our Contracting team and play a key role supporting the delivery of customer connections and capital projects across our network.

This is a varied and fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers, Delivery Teams, and customers to ensure information is accurate, systems are up to date, and projects keep moving. From invoicing and reporting to data analysis, customer queries, documentation management, and coordinating meetings, you'll be at the heart of the Connections team.

You'll also help extract and analyse data, support Power BI reporting, manage job statuses, assist with customer requests, and contribute to business improvement initiatives that make a real difference to how we work.

If you enjoy solving problems, building strong relationships, and being the person that everyone can rely on, we'd love to hear from you.

About You

You'll be a proactive administrator or coordinator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys juggling multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in a Coordinator, Administrator, Customer Service, or similar support role
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to confidently handle enquiries and triage requests
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with data, reporting, and business systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Confidence building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to look for better ways of working
  • Experience within infrastructure, engineering, utilities, or the electricity industry would be highly advantageous

Most importantly, you'll be a team player who enjoys supporting others, taking ownership of your work, and delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues alike.

What's in it for you?

You'll be joining a business where your work has a real impact on communities across Aotearoa. In return, you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive pay, plus flexible leave and boosted KiwiSaver options
  • Life insurance, discounted medical cover and wellbeing support
  • Fuel and retail discounts
  • Ongoing learning, development and career progression opportunities
  • A supportive, inclusive and family-friendly culture where safety comes first
  • The opportunity to work on essential infrastructure projects that help power New Zealand's future
