Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Connectivity Datacentre Project Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The role involves leading connectivity and cabling projects within data centres, including planning, coordinating, and delivering end-to-end installations and upgrades. The Project Manager will oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and expediting of materials and equipment to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Daily responsibilities include managing logistics and inspections, coordinating with internal engineering, operations and external vendors, tracking progress against project plans, and resolving issues that impact connectivity performance or timelines. The role also requires maintaining clear documentation, reporting project status to stakeholders, managing risks, and enforcing safety and quality standards across all site activities.

Qualifications

• Project Management skills, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
• Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely sourcing, tracking, and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Inspection experience to verify installation quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to standards.
• Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipments, onsite deliveries, and inventory control for data centre projects.
• Proven experience managing connectivity or data centre infrastructure projects, preferably in high-density or hyperscale environments.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead onsite teams.
• Familiarity with data centre cabling, network connectivity, and related industry standards; technical qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) are an advantage.
