As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for expertly finishing concrete surfaces to ensure smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing results. Duties

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve specified textures and levels.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently during the pouring process.
• Install rebar and metal mesh reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity.
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute concrete finishing tasks.
• Prepare surfaces by applying forms, framing, or scaffolding, including carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry and framing.
• Perform masonry work such as stucco, plastering, or tile laying as needed for restoration or renovation projects.
• Use hand tools like trowels, floats, screeds, caulking guns, and other equipment to achieve precise finishes.
• Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and efficient project progression.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the process to meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate activities like metal stud framing or roofing preparations for seamless project flow.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
• Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete pumping operations.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools essential for concrete finishing tasks.
• Knowledge of masonry work including stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project timelines for efficient task planning.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety protocols on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
