Consignment and Sales Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Consignment and Sales Associate to join our dynamic New To You Team! In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, responsible for carefully handling consignment inventory, assisting customers with their purchases, and driving sales through exceptional service. Your enthusiasm for clothing and sustaiability combined with your strong communication skills and product knowledge, will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and inspired to shop. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, providing outstanding customer service and product information to enhance their shopping experience
• Handle consignment inventory by receiving, inspecting, pricing, and displaying items for sale
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist customers with retail store product knowledge, answering questions about merchandise and store policies
• Maintain an aesthetically pleasing and safe sales floor

Requirements

• Strong communication skills- bilingual capabilities are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures
• Familiarity with brands and ever-changing fashion trends
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally and courteously
• Flexible schedule with minimum availability of 3 days per week and weekend availability
• Ability to work at both Newberg and McMinnville locations is preferred
