Consignment Sales Associate

MeiGray, the leader in game-worn sports memorabilia sales and authentication, is looking for a Consignment Sales Associate to add to our Sales Team. We seek an experienced, professional, extroverted, driven and sales-minded individual**.** This position is based at our Branchburg, New Jersey headquarters and will require a full-time in-office presence (five days a week) and travel for live activations as required.

Responsibilities of this position include the following:

-Consignment Initiation and Collection: Seeking out consignments and collections from customers inside and outside the MeiGray database to continually refresh inventory and maximize value for both collectors and MeiGray.

-Consignor Support: Managing intake, data entry and preparation for sale of all Consignments through multiple sales channels; Keeping sales records for all consignments.

-Customer Support: Communicating with customers regarding authentication and pricing of their consignments. Processing orders where necessary. Responding to and/or directing customer requests and questions

-Managing and Overseeing Sales Initiatives: Driving revenue growth and customer engagement for Consignment Sales and one of MeiGray’s partner teams.

Qualifications include the following:

-Superior attention to detail

-Superior interpersonal and client communication skills

-Ability to close without a heavy-handed approach

-Knowledge of pro sports teams and players

-Knowledge of player marketability

-Previous work experience in sports a plus

-Ability to self-start and multitask

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

-Ability to vocalize ideas to improve the company

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
