Constituency Admin Officer

Fred Thomas MP is looking for a well organised, confident administrator to join his existing team in the constituency of Plymouth Moor View.

This role is full-time and hybrid, working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the office and usually Monday and Wednesday at home.

The role holder will provide support across the MP’s office. This includes supporting Fred’s visits and meetings in Plymouth; responding to policy enquiries and basic casework tasks; and supporting the Office Manager with the daily running of the office e.g. diary arrangements and admin tasks. As a small team, it is essential that you can work flexibly so that all tasks are covered during annual leave or particular campaign activities. Given the nature of the constituency, it is preferential that you possess a driving licence and have access to a car.

This is an interesting and varied general administration role which will provide ongoing development and exposure to all aspects of parliamentary work including opportunities to travel to Westminster. An interest in politics and general understanding of key policy issues is therefore helpful.
