Role Overview

• Position: Construction Accountant
• Reports To: Controller or Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
• Nature: Full-time, project-focused financial management

Key Responsibilities

• Job Costing: Track direct and indirect expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment for each site.
• Billing and Invoicing: Process progress billings, manage vendor invoices, and handle subcontractor payments.
• Budget Tracking: Collaborate with project managers to compare actual spending against estimated budgets.
• Cash Flow Management: Forecast cash needs for active and upcoming building phases.
• Compliance and Tax: Prepare tax documents and ensure adherence to local financial regulations and tax laws.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with focus on construction or project cost accounting.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and industry software like QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, sharp attention to detail, and good communication for working with site managers.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
