What they need

Love admin? Love people? Bring great energy? We want to meet you!

Are you the kind of person who loves organisation, a tidy inbox and the satisfaction of ticking everything off your to-do list?

Do you enjoy keeping things moving, helping people and being part of a positive, supportive team?

If you've got residential building experience, a can-do attitude and genuinely LOVE administration, this could be the role for you!

A Little About Us

We're Perway Construction Services, a boutique, family-owned building company based in Greenwood, Perth.

We're not your average builder. We specialise in healthier, high performing custom timber-frame homes, high-quality renovations, extensions and our very own EcoPods.

We care just as much about the experience our clients have throughout their building journey as we do about the finished home.

We're a growing business with big ambitions, strong values and a genuine belief that having the right people around you makes all the difference.

About the Crew

We'll be honest, our office team is pretty awesome!

We're a small, close-knit team with great energy, a supportive culture and people who genuinely enjoy working together.

We work hard, back each other, share ideas and celebrate the gains and learnings, big and small. We enjoy team lunches, social catch-ups and opportunities to connect outside the office.

We're also proud of Build It Forward, our registered charity where our team comes together to help people in need through building projects.

There are no big-builder politics or complicated corporate layers here.

Culture matters to us. We value people who bring positive energy, take pride in what they do and genuinely want to be part of the team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the owners, Louise and Andy, you'll be the person helping keep our clients, projects and administration running smoothly.

You'll coordinate clients across multiple active projects, support our project management team and help deliver an exceptional client experience from first enquiry right through to handover.

We want someone who takes ownership, understands the building process and enjoys making sure everything is organised, followed up and moving forward.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves admin, not someone who just puts up with it!

If you've worked as a Client Liaison Officer, Prestart Consultant or Contracts Administrator, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Client Experience, Communication & Handover

Be the friendly, organised point of contact who ensures our clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their building journey, from initial enquiry to handover. You'll manage client communication, updates and follow-ups through our CRM, coordinate handover documentation and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Pre-Construction Coordination

Help keep projects moving from initial planning through to construction. You'll assist with the coordination of client prestarts, selections, approvals, compliance documentation and communication with our team, consultants and relevant authorities, supporting the teaam and ensuring everything is ready before work begins on site.

Project Management, Contracts & Variations Support

Work closely with our project managers to keep multiple projects organised and on track. You'll assist with scheduling, contracts, variations, approvals, client meetings and project documentation, ensuring actions are followed through and records are kept up to date in our systems.

Systems, AI & Continuous Improvement

We're big believers in working smarter, not harder! You'll help maintain and improve our administration systems, processes and digital workflows. We actively embrace technology, automation and AI, so we're looking for someone who's either experienced with these tools or genuinely excited to learn and use them to improve how we work.

Now, Let's Talk About YOU!

We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, genuinely enjoys administration is excited about technology and brings positive energy to the workplace.

You're the person who notices when something is missing, follows things up without being reminded and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.

You understand how residential construction works, enjoy working with clients and can confidently communicate with homeowners, trades, suppliers and project managers.

You don't just identify problems. You enjoy finding solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the residential building industry. This is a must.
  • Experience in construction administration, client coordination, pre-construction or a similar role.
  • A genuine love of administration, organisation and attention to detail.
  • A positive, friendly and approachable personality who brings great energy to the team.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, trades and project managers.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confident using digital systems, with experience using AI tools or a genuine willingness to embrace AI, automation and new technology.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude who takes ownership, solves problems and enjoys learning.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience using GoHighLevel CRM and Wunderbuild.
  • Previous experience as a Client Liaison Officer, Prestart Consultant or Contracts Administrator.
  • Ability to read and interpret residential building plans.
  • Experience with client selections, contracts and building approvals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with the right building industry experience, a great personality and a genuine passion for admin who wants to grow with us.

What's In It for You?

  • $65,000 – $80,000 + super, depending on level of experience.
  • A fun, supportive team with great energy and a positive workplace culture.
  • Ongoing training and opportunities to grow your skills and personal development.
  • Genuine career progression into operations and/or leadership as the biz grows.
  • Team lunches, social events and involvement in our Build It Forward charity projects.
  • The opportunity to work on exciting custom homes, renovations and innovative EcoPods.
  • A family-owned business where your ideas are valued and your contribution matters.
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, based in our Greenwood office.

Sound Like Your Kind of Workplace?

We're not looking for someone who simply wants another administration job.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of a team, take pride in their work, bring positive energy to the office and grow with us.

We hire for attitude and character just as much as capability.

How to Apply

Send your CV and a genuine cover letter to [email protected].

We'd love to get to know the person behind the resume! In your cover letter, tell us:

1. We're big on team culture at Perway! What kind of energy and personality would you bring to our team, and what makes you a great person to work alongside?

2. What's one administration task you secretly LOVE doing that other people probably don't enjoy?

Applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide professional references.

If you love admin, enjoy working with people and want to be part of a growing business with great energy, we'd love to hear from you!
