Construction & Engineering Underwriter

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction & Engineering Underwriter to join our dynamic team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• To look after all of day-to-day business submission (Construction & Engineering) and/or insurance placement which includes day to day correspondence, CAR quotation preparation and other activities related such as Fac RI business.
• To perform underwriter role according to the underwriting guideline as well as to comply with AXA underwriter referral & other related protocol.
• Support Distribution Teams to ensure the company growth for Commercial Lines (P&C)
• Ensure the profitability with close collaboration with profitability team
• To maintain & develop relationship with the intermediaries.
• Contributing and sharing the technical insurance knowledge within Commercial Lines teams
• Any other assignment may be assigned by the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Construction & Engineering underwriting.
• P&C Underwriting & Reinsurance knowledge.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good command of English.
