Construction Attorney - Associate

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a top AmLaw firm in Nashville to recruit an associate attorney for the firm's highly regarded, national construction practice. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience with construction law and litigation in a sophisticated law firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Represent construction industry clients (contractors, developers, owners) in disputes arising over commercial construction projects, construction defect claims, and other complex construction disputes.
• Review, draft, and advise clients on construction contracts, including AIA contracts.
• Conduct legal research and writing; manage discovery; draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from a highly regarded law school with excellent academic credentials
• Admission to Tennessee bar in good standing, or ability to become licensed in Tennessee
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Construction industry background preferred but not required
