Construction Billing Specialist / Contract Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Billing Specialist / Contract Administrator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the full lifecycle of construction project contracts and billing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pay Applications and Job Costing: Prepare, review, and process construction pay applications including final billings. Build and maintain electronic draw files, Excel based reconciliations and track lien waivers prior to payment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to confirm job costing, change orders, and support documentation prior to billing.
• Manage document workflows related to contracts, change orders, invoices, and project correspondence.
• Maintain organized records of all contract documents, billing statements, and correspondence across multiple active construction projects.
• Review contracts for billing requirements and payment terms, ensure we have Schedule of Values (SOV) for each project and remain compliant with project requirements.
• Perform occasional administrative and clerical duties as needed, including answering phones, scanning, copying and filing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks along with specialized tools like Procore, Textura, GC Pay for document handling and process automation.
• Experience managing contractor relationships while ensuring adherence to compliance standards across multiple projects.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
