Construction Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Finish Point Trim and Millwork is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper who thrives managing all day-to-day accounting and financial operations for a subcontracting business that cares about the work they do and the people that do it. This is a vital role for our company and one that will need someone with a passion for details and accounting. You will manage all accounting functions with a focus on construction-specific accounting practices, be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial statements and compliance standards, and be an integral part of the work we do here in reviving and redefining the honor of skilled trades!

The Work You’ll Drive

• Managing ALL aspects of accounts receivable, including creating and sending accurate invoices, tracking progress billings, and following up on collections
• Overseeing accounts payable including verifying subcontractor invoices, matching purchase orders, managing lien waivers, and processing vendor payments
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and line of credit statements monthly.
• Partner with our bookkeeping service in maintaining the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
• Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
• Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
• Manage office supplies inventory, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
• Provide administrative support to senior management and other staff.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, memos, forms, and presentations.

• If compiling an incredible spreadsheet makes you happy - in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• You know the ins and outs of bookkeeping, especially in a subcontracting environment and enjoy the variety that provides.
