Construction Business Development Manager / Estimator

Above The Sky Inc. is a growing construction company seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Business Development Manager / Estimator to help expand our presence in the New York market. This is a leadership role for a construction professional who can generate new business opportunities, build relationships with architects, property owners, developers, and real estate professionals, prepare estimates, negotiate contracts, coordinate subcontractors, and assist in managing projects through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong network within the construction industry, understands the construction process from pre-construction through closeout, and is motivated to grow with a company that offers long-term advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, property owners, developers, brokers, and industry professionals. Identify and pursue new construction and renovation opportunities. Attend networking events, meetings, and project walkthroughs. Review plans, specifications, and project requirements. Prepare accurate estimates and proposals. Negotiate contracts and assist in closing new projects. Source and qualify subcontractors and suppliers. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids. Coordinate project schedules and assist with project management. Monitor project budgets, change orders, and overall project performance. Work closely with company leadership to support business growth.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of construction estimating, project management, business development, or related experience. Strong understanding of construction means and methods. Existing relationships within the construction industry are highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.

Compensation Starting salary from $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Performance bonuses and advancement opportunities are available based on projects secured, company growth, and overall performance.
