Construction CAD Layout Specialist

Turn drawings into reality.

FORCINE is seeking an experienced Construction CAD Layout Specialist to turn construction plans into accurate, field-ready layout. You’ll work with CAD drawings, coordinates, elevations, control points, and robotic layout technology to help our crews build from the plans with precision.

What you'll do:

• Create, edit, and prepare CAD files for field layout and construction
• Review structural and architectural drawings and identify conflicts or discrepancies
• Manage layout activities for assigned projects from start to finish
• Establish horizontal and vertical control using Robotic Total Stations
• Establish control lines, elevation points, and benchmarks
• Layout foundations, columns, walls and other structural elements
• Perform field measurements and assist with surveying activities
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to solve layout challenges
• Maintain, organize, and properly use surveying and layout equipment
• Continue developing your skills through CAD, layout, surveying, and field technology training

What we're looking for:

• At least two years of Construction, surveying, layout or field engineering experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working both behind a computer and on active construction sites
• Must take initiative and be able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites

to loud noise, moving equipment, dust and outdoor elements. The worker is
