Construction Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Install drywall and perform other tasks related to remodeling projects
• Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
• Inspect work and ensure it meets quality standards
• Collaborate with other carpenters and construction professionals on projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans
• Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members

Skills:

• Drywall installation and repair
• Remodeling experience
• Ability to fabricate structures from scratch
• Tile laying expertise
• Proficiency in various carpentry tasks such as roof construction and repair
• Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques
• Capability for heavy lifting when necessary
• Trim carpentry skills for finishing touches on projects
• Proficiency in using power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
