As a Construction Specialist, you will be actively involved in all phases of construction, from initial planning and blueprint interpretation to the final touches on a variety of commercial and residential structures. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
• Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently across various site tasks.
• Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Execute diverse construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, concrete finishing, tile laying, and plastering.
• Install doors, windows, cabinetry, glass panels, trim carpentry, stucco finishes, and perform caulking for weatherproofing.
• Conduct site preparation activities such as excavation, concrete forming, hardscape installation, and restoration work.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects and coordinate fabrication or installation of custom components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of general construction practices.
• Skilled in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for various trades including electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy equipment operation.
• Experience with construction estimating processes and project management fundamentals is a plus.
• Ability to perform detailed construction inspection and quality control checks.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for working at heights or with hazardous materials.
