About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and field personnel, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and working closely with the wider project team to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects.
Supervise subcontractors, trades and field personnel.
Coordinate construction schedules and project milestones.
Review and interpret drawings, specifications and project documents.
Monitor quality, workmanship and progress throughout the project.
Maintain a safe, organised and productive jobsite.
Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers and inspectors.
Identify and resolve issues that could affect schedule, quality or budget.
Conduct site meetings and maintain project documentation.
Assist with inspections, punch lists and project closeout.
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
Commercial construction experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and jobsite management.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors and trade partners.
Strong understanding of construction safety requirements.
Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
