Construction Crew Leader

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee our team and ensure the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, quality control, and project management. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising crew members, managing project schedules, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of workers on various projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets project specifications and client expectations.
• Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks while coordinating with other teams as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide the crew in executing tasks effectively.
• Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Experience with project scheduling software such as Prolog is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on project goals.
