Job Overview

Meridian Hills Construction is seeking an experienced Project Foreman to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for coordinating personnel, maintaining project schedules, communicating with customers and company leadership, and ensuring that work is completed safely and to a high standard of quality.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, skilled construction professional who can lead a crew, solve problems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of a project from start to finish. Must speak English, though bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from start to completion.
• Serve as the primary on-site representative for customers, crew members, subcontractors, and company leadership.
• Plan and coordinate daily work to prevent delays, minimize rework, and keep projects on schedule.
• Assign responsibilities to crew members and verify that work is completed properly.
• Supervise, train, and support crew members.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, particularly during finish work and project closeout.
• Enforce jobsite safety procedures and ensure that tools and equipment are used properly.
• Monitor materials to reduce loss, damage, and unnecessary waste.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional jobsite.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues, communicating with the customer or company leadership when necessary.
• Continually evaluate methods, tools, materials, and crew performance to improve efficiency and quality.
• Provide customers with a positive experience through prompt communication, professionalism, and respectful conduct.

Requirements

• Construction experience with a strong understanding of jobsite operations and multiple phases of construction.
• Ability for overnight travel during the week. Weekends off.
• Previous crew leadership, foreman, or project supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to organize work, delegate responsibilities, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Willingness to continue learning and accept increased responsibility.
• Ability to evaluate personal and crew performance and understand how it affects the project and the company.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Pay dependent on experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
