Duties

• Assist with the installation of building materials including drywall, tile, flooring, cabinetry, and trim carpentry to ensure precise fit and finish.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as excavation, lifting, and site preparation.
• Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to execute projects accurately, including window installation, electrical work, plumbing, and plastering.
• Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications.
• Support hardscaping construction projects by laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and executing outdoor hardscape features with attention to detail.
• Perform site cleanup, organize tools and materials, and assist with remodeling tasks across various job sites.
• Follow safety procedures diligently while working outdoors or in confined spaces; report hazards or incidents immediately.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction sites or related fields demonstrating familiarity with building construction processes.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation essential for daily tasks.
• Knowledge of construction management principles including interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Practical understanding of construction estimating techniques and material requirements.
• Exposure to electrical systems, plumbing installations, drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, tile laying, and flooring installation is highly desirable.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical instructions effectively.
