Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead and oversee all construction activities for a high-rise residential building project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project delivery within the approved schedule and budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction activities from mobilization through project completion and handover.
• Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective measures to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Supervise construction managers, site engineers, and other project personnel to ensure efficient site operations.
• Oversee structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works to ensure proper coordination and quality execution.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to optimize productivity and control costs.
• Review construction methodologies, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions in coordination with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resolve site-related technical and operational issues, and minimize rework.
• Prepare and review construction progress reports, schedules, resource plans, and project updates.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• More than 10 years of UAE experience in construction management, particularly high-rise residential building projects.
• Proven experience leading large construction teams and managing complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural works, architectural finishes, MEP coordination, construction planning, and project execution.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project scheduling, cost control, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
